This landmark legislation establishes the Online Gaming Authority of India (OGAI) as a central regulatory body to oversee the booming sector and distinguish between skill-based gaming and prohibited gambling. From today, all gaming operators must comply with strict transparency rules, including mandatory age verification and spending limits to protect vulnerable users.
